Hey Everyone!! Welcome to my free digital stamps site! I have had a few people email me and ask the same questions so I thought it would be easier to put how this site works in one spot. I am Alison owner of freedigitalstamps. I have some amazing ladies who help me post all the freebies.. If you are a DIGITAL STAMP artist and would like us to feature your free digital stamp on this site please**freedigitalstamps@gmail.com ..your DIRECT link to the FREEBIE..

*******PLEASE if you are a digital stamp artist, it is so much easier for your followers to give you credit for your stamps if you place your "site" name after the stamp name.. IE- bird2-stretchnbubbles (this just ensures that you get credit for your work).. HUGS

  3. Just wanted to mention that today is the last day that www.Squigglefly.com is using all funds from the sale of their cat digis to help Lucky the Cat. You can read about Lucky here; http://squigglefly.blogspot.com/2011/02/lucky-kitten.html I think that was really nice of their designers. While this site is dedicated to free digis; thought there might be a few who would like to participate. Anyway, I thought it was a great deal, digis at a great price and helps Lucky also! It was for the month of February, so today is the last day.
Thanks for all the free digis posted today! Myself, being unable to draw, I so appreciate them sharing their talents!

  15. Thanks for listing the freebies... I HAVE to comment on something though... What Sara wrote, over at "The Sherlocks Home" about not getting thanks for the freebie, I totally understand where she is coming from. but, on a side note, she also has to realize that out of the "thousands of page views" she received, it is possible that MANY of those people did NOT even save her freebie. I say that because I have gone to her page MANY times in the last few weeks when you've posted a link to her freebie, and I have NOT grabbed it because it isn't something I can see myself using for anything.
So, just going by the number of thanks one receives and comparing that to the number of page views they receive, the numbers can be deceiving! Granted, I'm sure that more than half of the "thousands" of page views she got did in fact save the image, I'm sure that there are quite a few that also did NOT. ;)
    Just my two cents.

  20. Thank you for maintaining this website. I visit every day! I have enjoyed many of the freebies offered here, and very often I return to those artists sites and purchase their images. I am confused about thanking them...are we supposed to thank the artist if we just look, but don't snag? I appreciate their hard work and generosity very much, but usually just "look". Pat K

  21. Thank you so much for your hard work in finding freebies. I surely appreciate it !
Here's my take on thanking and it isn't going to make me a favorite for saying this but some of us offering freebies on our blogs don't need validation for what they offer out to cyber space freely. I've been to some digital designer blogs that have ranted, vented and pleaded repeatedly for thank you's. Threats to stop giving freebies if they don't get more comments. My goodness !
There are times I have looked for inspiration and google searched just images. I click to look in more detail generating a hit but I don't snag any freebies. I don't feel the need to stop my mission muse and leave a comment.
Free time is so limited anymore . Internet speeds vary especially viewing graphic intense web sites. Comment boxes ask for google account sign ins which means another step not to mention the scrabbled word thing. Everything takes time...precious free time that could be used crafting , designing or playing with the grandkids. Not everyone is being mean in not commenting. I just wanted to get that out there. I don't think I'm the only one feeling like me and wishing I had a clone to stay on this computer 24/7 and make everyone happy.

  22. i just found your site, what a fantastic resourse, keep up the good work.

i dont always get the time to comment on individual free files, my kids think i spend enough time on the computer as it is, but still whole heartidly appreciate the time and effort they give to us all.

  23. Hi all, as a free digi creator it is always nice to read comments about my images. I often use them to gauge what people like and do not like.

I allow anonymous comments, and have always disabled the scrabbled word thingy, mostly because I can never get them right.

The only thing I do is check the comments before I let them go live, good or bad as may be. Though happily for me 99.9 percent are wonderful to read, and often they make me want to go and design yet more free images.

Like anyone else it is nice to know that what you do is appreciated, but it has never stopped me from creating when there are few thank you's.

I had been wondering why there had been so many comments on my latest freebie, in fact it was staggering and wonderful to see so many great comments. I then stumbled onto this conversation, and read a few blogs, and I am in the know now. lol

Thanks to all those who care enough to write, thanks to all those who download and enjoy my freebies... and thanks to those who come on this site to find the freebies.

Keep up the good work folks, and happy crafting...

    hugs Janie xxx
